Hypothetically speaking.....
Just suppose you had 250,000,000 pre 1982 Copper cents acquired in the last 10 years sitting in a warehouse. Now suppose you had a high speed programmable optical scanner that you could program to search for anomalies, such as specific doubled dies (1969-S 1970-S 1972 etc).
Question #1. What specific coins would you program the scanner to look for?
Question #2. What do you think the probability would be of actually finding anything of value?
Question #3. Or would you just throw them on eBay as unsearched bags?

Why would anyone have 250,000,000 cent in the first place?
<< <i>How much would $2.5 million in cents cost? Nevermind... how much do 250,000,000 cents weigh? >>

<< <i>First - count & roll them, just to be sure they are all there. >>
