why not? Do it all the time...at least to western europe where I have found them far more trustworthy than most of the asshats here in the US.. That doesn't go for the rest of the world though.

confirmed / unconfirmed is just a technical status with no meaning.
you already give the answer in your question image

after 10 years active selling and buying on the Bay and and using a PayPal account for the same period,
my dutch account is still unconfirmed,
but I don't have any problems buying and paying items from US sellers.
I just explain the confirmed / unconfirmed status.

standard phrase in many US listings , only sell to buyers with a confirmed PayPal adress,
infact meaning I don't ship overseas.
www = world wide web , I ship items worldwide, more competition, better prices
I sold a lot of stuff to Japan , never had a problem.

Sold to unconfirmed address PayPal will not covered for fault (off eBay transaction). So if there is a fault involved seller might lose the money.

Do you send a 5 to 10K coin?
  • cachemancacheman Posts: 3,121 ✭✭✭
uh, in that case I'd have to say no. they need to figure out a way to get the money to you BEFORE you send it and you need to make sure you send it Registered to force a signature. Also make sure to photodocument the piece in case they decide to send something back that wasn't what you sent. UPS would be better than USPS since you can track to the destination anywhere in the world. USPS only tracks to our border exit.

I have asked purchasers in the past, when first starting ebay, if they had someone here in the states that could act as their middle-man...that worked too.

It is easy to send a coin under 1K but when it come to 5 to 10K then it is difficult to use paypal but most buyers don't want to send money order or do a wire transfer.
