Brand New to World Coins: Whats an average SPanish Pillar Dollar go for?

Ive always been a US man, but I attend the International for the first time yesterday. I became very interested in buying a Spanish Milled Dollar as a Type piece, but I didnt know what they go for..any help?

    Good Question. ONe that I didnt even know existed till yesterday lol. The earlier non bust type. Lets say one slabbed in VF as our target example.

    A VF Pillar Dollar of Mexico City (say late 1760's) should run about $200-250, retail. I'd say that a properly graded VF35 with extra nice eye appeal could even push $300.
