Dallas Green signed my paychecks when I worked for the Cubs and got to meet his family while we partied at Dallas's house when he was out of town. (He never knew about the parties...or so we thought).
This really hits home. I cant tell you home much more of a shock this story is to me now.
I am so tired of politics and peoples crazy views and those views being jammed down peoples throats. what ever happened to doing the right thing? see a wrong and make it right Stop worrying about I'll vote for this if you vote for that. If it is makes sense and it would be positive.. vote for it.. but it will never be that way
but even it was, you would still have crazies like this guy doing crazy things with backwards thinking
what a tragedy.. that is truly heartbreaking.. I can only imagine my heart goes out to everyone involved, so dumb
If you are against gun control, maybe incredibly tragic stories like this will help change your mind. We can't stop the crazies from getting guns, so we need MUCH tougher laws.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Here is to hoping that folks reign in their rhetoric and have a civil discussion on the issues.

Its a terrible tragedy. As a father of 2 it scares me knowing where our great country is heading.
My prayers go out to all involved.
