Decisions Decisions on buying

I'm looking for advice on buying from BBCE to rip and have fun with, but want a good chance at getting some decent cards to submit:

1. 1977 Vending Box for $395
2. 1980 Cello Box for $340
3. 1980 Wax Box for $330

I look forward to ALL the advice the board can provide.

I busted a '77 Vending box last month and probably recouped half of my cost and still have 480 or so vending fresh cards. Not bad, but not nearly as good as most of my other vending busts. I've been fortunate with vending. I made money on a '78 box, an '83 case, and most recently an '80 box. If a couple of the stars had 10'd instead of being 9's I would have been close to getting my money's worth. It was fun though.

    Sean,

Trust me it has crossed my mind, but I'm not sure I could come close to at least breaking somewhat even. Never bought a vending box from the 70's. If I thought I could at least get a few stars that were gradeable, I would probaby jump on it.
