Question on grading late 90's

So I've got about 100 Peyton Manning RC's I'm debating about getting graded or not... I probably wouldn't be able to afford the grading without selling some of the nicer ones post grade....
I'm checking ebay and I see about 1 in every hundred is PSA, is that because psa is mostly vintage or because becketts "sub-grade" system seems to catch peoples eyes more?
What would be the best option if I were to grade and sell, would it simply be through psa or bgs or does it really matter which grading company I use.
I'm asking this question hoping it will be answered from an unbiased viewpoint as impossible as it is on a PSA sponsored board.

My biggest question is... What would be cheapest - That's probably the way I'm going to end up having to go since funds are a bit short at the moment.

PSA 10s (which I feel you should reasonably expect to get SOME) -- are selling $100+ -- 9s haven't sold at $45
BGS 9.5s (which I feel you should reasonably expect to get SOME) -- are selling $80+ -- 9s have sold at $20
If (IF) you think you could pull a BGS 10 -- BGS would be the way to go. Otherwise, I would think PSA would be the better way.
One thing I think helps the PSA 10 sell is that people have themed PSA collections (RC QBs, HOF QBs, Guys w/overbearing fathers RCs) -- of which Peyton fits (or will fit) and the for continuity would buy a PSA 10, but never a BGS 9.5.

hmmmm, there's already 100's of them listed on E-bay. Why would you spend $$ grading just to add more, which will bring the prices down?

So your intentions are to keep most of them? If they are for your personal collection, I would just pick out a few of the nicest ones to send in to BGS (no membership fee). See how they come back. If they grade high, and you have others in similar condition, then you could send a bunch more in and try to sell them for a profit.
