VAM Help - 1924-S Peace Dollar

ProofCollectionProofCollection Posts: 5,922 ✭✭✭✭✭
Need some help with this VAM attribution. I think it could be VAM-3 but it doesn't quite match the descriptions on Vamworld, but it does have a lot of doubling. Hopefully I have enough pictures here... I can add more if you need to see something else.

Thanks!

  • strike & or die erosion doubling, not the VAM-3. As someone who has owned a few of the rare vam-3's I can say with confidence that 1: it is not that coin 2: your coin might be cooler it is a pretty lame vam and real subtle/slight at best

Can you get better images of the reverse doubling?

  • The "In God We" looks like strike doubling.

The "ONE" and associated reverse rays are real interesting.

    "ONE" looks like trippling.

    Rays also appear trippled.

Could "ONE" and reverse rays be a rare combination of strike doubling and hub doubling???
