what's this?

I think this is an electrotype fantasy New Hampshire halfpenny supposedly struck by Walter Mouton (the "WM"), but it wasn't made in 1776. I think I read somewhere that a coin dealer made these around 1870 (named Boyd maybe?). Copies of those c. 1870 fantasies have been made ever since. Some recently-made ones look cast and are "fuzzier" and they have "copy" punched in them. This one looks like it might be old. Does anyone here know the difference between the new and old versions? Is this an old one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
