Centering Opinions from the room

I'm always puzzled by back centering, as 90/10 always seems SO close to MC to my picky eyes. That being said, do you guys consider this within tolerances? Using a 1/32 rule, it does even on the right side, but I'm just not convinced it's worth subbing. The front is dead nuts or I wouldn't even ask.

It's within standards for a 9. I would not want that if I was buying it. PSA will probably not give that a 9. This is a very debatable issue. I think this varies from grader to grader and collector to collector.

Yeah, don't worry - this would be for flipping purposes only.

Oh, and also don't worry - I won't flip it here. image

Since when did we start posting back scans of cards?

With my unscientific method (counting pixels on zoom)

I measure the right side at between 90/10 and 94/6.
  • PSA always amazes me with their determinations of a 8, 9 or 10. I have sent cards in that I was sure to be a 9 and they came back an 8.

  • this might come back a straight PSA 8 or a PSA 9 OC or a PSA 9 MC , I would roll the dice and submit it. image

Wells, it's $130 in 9, $15 in 8. I wouldn't keep it in my set, but there's a lunch money in an 8 at least.

Let's see the front. I love the World Series/Playoff cards.

I don't think it will get the MC qualifier.

It could get the N8 designation though.

    IMO it won't 9.

I could see it in an 8 holder if all the other attributes are there.

    Gorgeous!!!!!

  • Perhaps this card has more print defect than miscut. The front is not miscut at all. The printing on the back is just not aligned properly with the printing on the front.

That is a sweet card... just be sure to scan the back once you are ready to sell it. That way you will avoid any Bobbynanigans...
