New pics of my 1898 Korea 1 yang FM-1119 - LRG pics

Took some better pics of my Korean 1 yang coin since that one seems to be the one people like. If anyone has any information on it beside it being rare, that would be great. Bought this off a coin collecting friend who is pretty knowledgeable but forgot to get the details and they flew south for the winter lol.

Also, would crossing this coin over to PCGS at same grade or better be worth it? I know PCGS has better value then NGC when talking about U.S coins, but I no idea about world coins.

Thanks.

    Pretty coin! I love dragons!

Is it rare? there's no mintage I can find but I imagine you're right.

The picture I saw of it in the Krause catalog seems to have more characters around the rim.
Maybe my imagination. Anyhoo, congrats on the acquisition.

  • I don't know if it will cross, but if I'm the owner, I would prefer the coin in NGC holder.
