I don't see an improving economy.

I see $5.00 gas coming and more expensive everything else.

Rx: stay off the compter, no financial TV (even Erin Burnett), take two aspirin a day and call me in two months.

I see, at the grocery store today, that a box of crackers has lost another 2oz and gone up $0.29. Same size box though...losing the un-noticeable effect with this round....

    Recommendations for PM holders:

    1. Do not panic, all will come out OK.

    2. Save the money, stop eating crackers

    3. When gas reaches 5 dollars a gallon, get yourself
a good siphon tube and pucker up.

    4. Try not to follow the lemmings off the cliff.

    No siphoning for me...

When I was a kid I needed some gas for my Honda 80 dirt bike. My dad said I could go out and siphon some out of his car.
So I cut up some old hose, took a long pull on that sucker and nothing happened. So then I took a longer pull and gulped
a huge drink of gas.... The gas tasting burps/belches lasted for days and almost made me puke every time.

I still shudder thinking about how awful that was. image

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Actually, the most effective ways to deal with inflation:

    1. Stop eating

    2. Stop driving

    3. Stop paying rent or mortgage

    4. In fact, stop everything except breathing and walking
aimlessly around pushing a grocery cart filled with plastic
bags containing your raggedy ass possessions.

Me too. The gas-smell belching was the worse. I remember going to bed that night thinking that this may be the end for me, that I may not wake up in the morning. That was 12 years ago, and it is still a bad memory for me.
