So now that Roberto Alomar is in....

Does this affect his card values in any way, shape or form??? I would guess the Topps Tiffany Rookie in Gem will be the most sought after, yes?

  • They are getting a nice bump right now, although a bunch of them are hitting eBay this afternoon. Same with Blyleven.

I think the score glossy is more in demand...or the Donruss, which was a pretty low pop when I was collecting his cards a year or two back.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

Which of Alomar's cards will PSA use for the official Post-'48 HOF RC registry?

They should just move the 1988 Score Traded over.

Score Traded Glossy had a much lower print run. 3,000 vs 25,000 Topps Traded Tiffany. Plus the Score card just LOOKS better.

1988 Donruss Alomar's aren't low pop anymore. PSA 10s have been selling for <$25 lately. EVERYTHING is getting a massive momentary bump right now though.
    My Giants collection want list

Not sure about the number, but it is low, and sets were selling for 99 bucks and still are, no bump from what I see

Surely any semi-fan knew he was going in. The impact should have been zilch.
  • I purchased his 1988 Fleer update for $12 and his 1988 Donruss RR for $15 in December. I sold them $29 and $40, respectively, in the days after he went in to the HOF. I wish I would have bought more.

How about his 1988 Donruss Best card (with the orange borders)?? Those are not very plentiful and is very underrated in my opinion.
