what value do you put on these players autographs?

Now all autographs have Coa's and are basically on a flat item .
here is what the players charged going from the last time I remember them signing + you usually don't get a coa when they sign:
Ted Williams- 325.00
Wayne Gretzky- 200.00
Joe Montana- 125.00 unsure on this one
Johnny Bench- 40.00
Bob Cousy- don't know
Ken Griffey jr.- 60.00
the reason I ask , is I don't understand why their signatures are worth a lot less than what these players charged?
