Selling proof sets

I am from the currency side and had a quick question. Every year the statehood quarters were minted (1999-2008), I bought an uncirculated set, regular proof set and silver proof set. I am now in need of some cash to fund my currency purchases and was wondering if now would be a good time to sell these. I am asking because I am going to FUN Friday and before I lug these across the country in my luggase, I wanted to see if people thought that I could sell them there.

Thanks;

    The market for a complete run of silver proof sets is something over $500.00. Prices for the silver sets were pretty weak until Christmas season and then they firmed up a bit. The others are not very marketable. I'm not sure what you might be offered at the show.

    I knew it would happen.
  • I would just sell the whole runs on ebay as three separate sets if you are going to sell them. I would think that would be where you would get the maximum price out of them.
