If you want to be automatic from the free throw line and become a much better shooter spend $5 on that book.
If you don't know what a hang clean is it's kinda hard to explain, but i think a weight program is the way to go.
<< <i>I just put ankle weights on every day, I wear them at school and everything, i play ball witha weight vest and jump rope alot. >>
ankle weight while jumping wears down the cartledge in your knees because as you jump, you body goes up while weight pulls down (pulling at your nearest joints). Once you land, it adds gravity to your landing which does a number on your knees over time.
Jump rope is good. Plus jumping up and down touching the backboard strengthen your legs, but if you do it too much, you will be like Jason Richardson (always jump off of 2 feet to dunk which is why he couldn't do the free-throw line dunk in the dunk contest).
auto-i heard somebody talk about the ankle weights ruining your knees when your older, I would rather only be able to jump off to feet then only be able to jump off one leg. I will try that backboard exercise out.
Thanks everybody for your replies
