Do you have a pic? I've never seen a 1 oz poured J-M silver bar.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

<< <i>nope my mother had a chance to get them but now they are melted they had the same jmc as some of them on ebay ...ive never seen them either im guessing very rare ....value??? >>
They were probably struck bars. When a major refiner like J-m produces 1 oz bars, they are usually mass produced so it's doubtful they are rare.

Wow!!! Apparently they are quite scarce or possibly two collectors just had to have it.

( and no ....... I did not buy it.)
These bars show that there is a real collector base for hard to find bars.
As neat as I think these are ....... I to have a real tough time paying these
kind of prices for collector bars.

I bid on this JM 3 gram silver bar a few days ago, I bid $75 and lost, it sold for $110. Was listed on the UK ebay site. Lot of neat items appearing lately such as that 1/2 oz Engelhard bar someone posted not long ago.

I feel the same way. There are plenty of interesting bars to collect that can be bought for close to melt value. Also, how much will the local B&M coin shops pay for those esoteric bars costing multiples of melt if you should ever needed to raise some quick cash?

I have been picking up most of my odd pour bars .35-.95 cents over spot. B&M shops view them as bullion, and rightly so. Some of those bars take months to sell (A&W, Omega, etc) and the chances that a collector will wander in isn't worth the extra $10 they may get.

Hi, I'm new here. Anyways, I'm not seeing this listing. Can someone post a link? I'm only seeing(recent) a 4 ounce poured that went for $170ish.
I have a couple old poured 5 ouncers that were handed down to me in a collection and one of them is a JMC. I'm just wondering if $10-$12 per ounce over melt is normal for the old poured stuff?
