    Your women are too fine.
  • Did you include ALL the needed information asked for. If you did not, your registration will be denied -- IIRC that is pretty clear in the rules.

You didn't offer your first born.
  • They have been getting a bunch of automatic requests for registration from bots or whatever the hackers use.

Check their threads for the subject "A few Net54baseball board things.......".

    Then e-mail Leon.

    Good luck.

At least they gave you the courtesy of a rejection. I registered for membership almost a year ago and have yet to hear a thing.

It's really rather cruel in a way. For nearly a year now, every time I go onto my computer I'm expecting to see my "Welcome to Net54" message. The constant disappointment has taken its toll. image

I'm sorry to hear about that Brett. That must have been one hell of a year filled with agony.
Every time you log on to your computer? Damn!

WHen I registered last year, they requested a phone number and some additional info. I sent them the info and they never called me, but they approved my account.

In their registration process, don't forget to check the block "yes" that states "Do you swear eternal allegiance to SGC"

I like to read some of the info on that board, but I rarely post there.

PROS: Pretty high-end info on some aspects of card collecting. The guy
that runs the place is pleasant enough.

CONS: Anti-PSA bias. Seemingly arbitrary determinations of what constitutes
    "controversial" topics.

    Football on Net54
  • I do alot of newer cards not much vintage
  • Net 54= scum forum with little information.

All they do is bash PSA. Its pro SGC
  • That place is weird. Nothing against anyone over there. I made some comments about psa years ago. I got "flagged" or something, I had to email the moderator. It was bizarre.

I don't even remember what it was about it. It sort of reminded me of being in a bar or restaurant filled with ucla fans. And if you mention something about usc, the head moderator wants to see you. It was much ado about nothing.

  • i joined net54 before I joined here and found a wide array of information on sets and topics that barely register over here. Their is a vast wealth of knowledge on those boards, but there is a bias.

  • There is plenty of information on Net54. There is certainly a SGC bias and it is a function mostly of the the pre-1945 and really pre-1920 focus of most posters and topics. Also the overall lack of registry interest on the part of most of the posters (myself included) contributes to that as well.
