Is the 52 Mantle real (Auction ends in an hour)

I won't touch any non-graded, non-big player Mantle, but this one is attracting some attention ...

My Registry Sets
It's only obvious when I see an auction with "My grand-dad pass away and bought this card, down at shore, and had it under his pillow for 50 years ...
The details are fuzzy, and the overall color is a bit washed out front and back.
The main reprints of these will have the black line around image be a different color compared to the black parts of uniform where they meet (bottom of image)
I worry that the E-Bay suspension nazi (soup) will tie my legit E-Bay back to the bogus one and ban all of them forever.
thanks
<< <i>How did you do the search to show that the buyer recently purchased that card?
thanks >>
I clicked on his feedback, chose "feedback as a buyer" and viewed the first item. He wasn't very good at covering his tracks.
there sure are some dumb buyers in this world and some flat out crooks.
I am sick of all the BS going around on eBay and the idiots who continue to feed these scammers by bidding and paying without spending 5 minutes doing research online. Idiots get what idiots deserve.
Also I am sending off an email to the Carrollton, Ohio police department to see if they are at all interested in this seller along with a couple quick links. If only these idiots would at least file charges after the fact I wouldn't be so bitter about the subject.
Also while I am ranting F eBay and their lack of giving a damn. I hope that company goes bankrupt in the near future.
<< <i>Seems like another Mantle reprint he has on e-bay now. >>

I like his answers to the questions. Got it from my grandpa's card collection...
<< <i>To whoever is the buyer of that card, if they didn't take 30 seconds to check and see that the last item he got feedback for was a reprint of this very card with photos that match the two together then they get what they deserve. >>
Hell, even if you didn't bother to do that...... the seller pretty much tells you right up front that it's fake in the item description!!
"No Guarantees If Original or Reprint" Sold As-Is
Assuming the buyer is real, and is actually going to send the crook 1600 dollars, I have ZERO sympathy for him/her.

I am no expert but these scans are awful and clearly not legit cards.
The way eBay is now skewed in the buyer's favor, there would be no recourse, right?
<< <i>Is there anything stopping somebody from bidding $1,000,000, winning the auction, not paying, and then giving instant negative feedback warning people about him listing reprints?

I was thinking the same thing. The only issue I came up with is, it would likely need to be someone who doesn't sell much. The seller could retaliate by leaving a neg for the person that did it.
