As a result of the most recent survey sent to type set registrants, we will be making the following composition changes:

All varieties currently listed online will be added to the 20th Century set with Type Variations (note name change).

All varieties currently listed online will be added to the Modern type set.

We'll get these changes added to the previews listed below as soon as we can and begin updating/adding the type sets. Thanks for your feedback and your patience in this matter.

So does this mean the new Modern Type (1950-present) will require commems, since they were listed in the current 1959-present set?

That's a good change... otherwise, the market would be flooded with AH Kennedys and orphaned Commems & Bullion.

Just think all the work PCGS could have saved themselves if they just weighted the sets to begin with....

    Bill,

Have we gotten any written confirmation on the commems being added back?

    Matt,

Your current set will be transported to the 20th Century CS & PR Major Types, No Gold set. If you have any coins dated 2000 or 2001, you will now have some holes in your set.

Flash email BJ ( bj@collectors.com ) and tell her what set you want to be in and she'll put you in.

Thanks. I'll wait and see where it ends up after they make their changes. Then I'll move it myself if I feel its not in the right set. If a set doesn't have 3 types of SLQ's, my set won't be there out of principal.
