Major Planchet flaw or something else? EAC'rs take a look!

AnkurJAnkurJ Posts: 11,366 ✭✭✭✭
This is in a non top tier holder graded as Fine 15 with a Planchet flaw. Close up of the date is below. Coin is an even brown with minimal red on the reverse. Pics make the reds show much more than in hand.

Does this look like a Planchet flaw or could it be something else?

How much would it effect value?

Planchet flaw or lamination that separated (expanded) after striking raising the area at the date. Now that the date was abnormally raised in relation to the rest of the coin, the date received accelerated wear causing it to be barely visible.
