Can anyone explain the differences between Diamond and Platinum level memberships now?

First, I love the changes to the quarterly freebie, it is a good move for both collectors and PCGS? I haven't renewed my membership in the last year and it is about time. I couldn't quite figure out the differences between Diamond and Platinum membership? How much is Diamond compared to Platinum and what does platinum give or take away compared to Diamond?
Thanks,

Plat is $199 Diamond $299
I would like to know if your coin facts subscription ends after one year with the Diamond membership or does it convert to the monthly afterwards. The continuing ding on the CC every month is what prevented me from getting coin facts in the first place. But I may be interested this time

I imagine it ends after 1 year. You are buying a set subscription, and that would end when your subscription ends.
I would be surprised it they kept dinging you a monthly fee after the subscription is over

As we near the end of 2010 I would like to thank you for your support over the past year. As you can imagine there is a steady and constant rush of work, issues to deal with, and people that need help every day. We want you to know that all of us appreciate the contribution you make to our success and we hope that success is mutual.
In 2011 we will be introducing a new membership level; making changes to the Quarterly Special, and adjusting our Collector Club Bulk program. Importantly no membership fees will be increased during 2011.
Effective February 1, 2011, PCGS will be adding a Diamond Level to our Collector Club program. The Diamond Level will receive all the benefits of the Platinum Level plus a one year subscription to PCGS CoinFacts. The cost of the Diamond Level will be $299 per year ($319 Intl.). We have received many requests to offer a combined membership and subscription. When you do the math you’ll see that this is quite an attractive offer. We hope that you will be able to take advantage of it.
Effective for the first quarter of 2011 we will be modifying the Quarterly Special. Historically a very small percentage of Club members take advantage of quarterly specials. We hope that the new format will encourage greater participation by having more to offer for everyone. For each Quarterly Special we will be choosing various services and creating a bundled offer. For example the first Quarterly Special for 2011 will be: submit 4 coins under Standard Economy service level (a $72 value) and only pay for 3 ($54). Simply write “Quarterly Special” on your submission form and fill out as usual. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, or submission, and is limited to one Quarterly Special per member per quarter. As we go through the year there will be similar types of bundled offers.
Effective February 1, 2011, we will be modifying the Collector Club Bulk program. An updated Collector Club Bulk agreement is attached. Highlights of the changes are: the grading fee is being increased from $10 to $12; the number of different coins (or mint marks) allowed per submission is being increased from 4 to 5; the maximum value of any coin submitted through Bulk will be strictly enforced at $300.
Again, we thank you for your support and wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!
Best wishes,
Don Willis

Not in most cases.
Since you get a better rate with yearly subscriptions, I just bought a year's worth and cancelled recurrent billing. (If I had not gotten the discounted rate right before the rate hike, I might be asking the same questions you are about transitioning to a diamond account.)
As a side note, Collectors Club memberships are also configured to bill automatically, but are also set up to allow you to instantly opt out of this afterwards the same way, on the same accounts page.
But, it is an opt-out rather than an opt-in, so be sure to cancel immediately before you forget about it, so you don't get dinged at an untimely moment. (I keep my subscription, but I like renewing it myself rather than having spontaneous charges. PCGS here, a gym membership there, magazines, insurance, and gradually I would otherwise be juggling thousands of dollars that have to be at the right place and time. If my coin collecting ever makes me have to set up an escrow account and do creative accounting juggling, I better be getting some pretty nice coins out of it!
