Has anyone dealt with National Coin Brokers?

Just a quick question, has anyone here dealt with them, they are online at nationalcoinbrokers.com. I sent an email asking for images of a coin on certified coin exchange, and rather than sending images, they asked for my phone number to talk. My antenna went up with that request, maybe I am just overreacting a bit, but I did not want my number on "the list" or to be hit up for portfolio management, etc... I was just interested in purchasing a coin for my collection. thanks.

I haven't dealt with them. But based on their name, a perusal of their website and the way they replied to you, I would stay clear.

hit you up for portfolio mgmt is the least of the worries. they can sell a lot easier over the phone and with no written records.

You could obtain a D & B report on them that would give you a firm picture of their financials.
