Saw this on my e-bay search. I seriously doubt this is an incomplete planchet.

Never seen that shape planchete.
No weakness of design near missing planchet edge.
No Blakesly effect.

    Actually it looks closer to two straight clips such as the corner of the end of the planchet strip. Can't say if it's legit from those pics though. The flattened area at 3:00 is interesting.
