1997 Topps Marbles? Info?

Does anyone here have any solid information or leads on the 1997 Topps Marbles test issue? I picked up the Ripken negative from his marble off the Topps Vault earlier this evening on eBay and would obviously like to add the marble to my collection as well.

Thanks

  • Marbles are tough to find, but the real killer are the two checklist cards. I haven't followed the market on these in quite some time so I really cannot offer too much in terms of value, but the marbles have always been scarce and the checklist cards used to go off the charts. Each CL has a mini picture of the marble with the player's name, so all of the player collectors want one to go along with the marble.

The last 2 checklists I saw, #1 and #2, sold for $200 each off eBay sales . The last Ripken marble I saw went for around $75 on eBay... I really wish I would have put in higher bids to pick that one up... tough issue!
