<< <i>If it was paid via PP I am not sure how they could file against you. >>
I don't know how that would be possible either. A seller might be able to do such, by checking your paid as unpaid. Either way, just click the paid link.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
<< <i>Doesn't the unpaid assistance tool create claims if the item isnt paid 4 days after the auction ended? >>
I have been on eBay since its start and I have never used the unpaid assistance tool. Perhaps you have to turn that on? I don't know, but I know ebay will hound the heck out of the buyer till they pay and I have to manual start the claim process, and I have to wait I think a week.
It is likely not reasonable to expect all payments in four days in today's ebay.

Just did a few from earlier this month, all two weeks old or more.
It does note "Unpaid item cases: Come back and close the case after you receive payment or once at least 4 days have passed. You must close the case within 37 days of the sale date to receive a credit."
Maybe that is where the 4 days came from? That 4 days refers to AFTER you open a unpaid item case.
It did not give the option to file such for items not paid this last week. So I guess I am calling BS on the OP story, which may be more as Steve noted, lack of info by the OP.
