Was looking for a 1917 DDO cent and found this guys listings.....

I can't believe all of the listings that aren't true....there is no such animal as a 1943 D/S cent as far as I know....there is a couple of legitimate ddo's but come on....

    A bunch of garbage there.

    The 1917 is not the DDO, the rest look like nothing as well.

    The 1986 dime smashed by a cent is the funniest.

    Too funny, coronet cent real vs fake from the seller - look at the position of the last 1 in the date from the real to the fake (among other uglies) -

    I don't think the 1831 is a fake, I believe this guy really has no idea on variety coins. He probably is seeing things on his coins like most of us do from time to time but this individual is not seeking others for guidance first he just thinks he has something and then throws it on ebay. Maybe I am wrong...

    Well, the 1935 5c and the 1974-D 50c look to be correctly identified, but as they say-even a broken clock is right twice a day. The '17 1c does NOT appear to be as stated.

    The 35 DDR is the real deal but scrached obv and cleaned is only at 30$ coin at best. He is asking 80!! But what got me laughing was all the different new varieties I have never heard of!
