Cameron Kiefer, Ambassador of Numismatics

Cameron had many wonderful qualities that endeared him to us. While he was a skilled and accomplished numismatist at a very young age, he was also honest, good-natured, outgoing, and decent. Based on scant posts from later years, and subsequent information that has come to light, he may have been lacking some of the necessities to being a successful coin dealer, including the business instincts and acumen, organization, and, perhaps and most importantly, working capital. It is painfully clear to me that coin dealering is not for everyone, and there are few opportunities for financial success and glamour in coins outside of this.
Someone with Cameron's positive qualities should have a place in the numismatic world, and, though posthumous, I think he is best remembered as the Ambassador of Numismatics, reflecting the bright light and goodwill he brought to the coin community.

Well said, and I think especially an inspiration to his peers.
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
I met him years ago,and always played guess the grade with him at shows.
I had a recent problem with him,and all he had to do was tell me the truth, and I would have understood, and tried to help.
I now wish that I had tried to find out what was really happening.
He will be missed, and he was good for the coin world.
I will try and find the guest book, and sign..
RIP Cam.

I shall miss him.
The name is LEE!
Nicely stated. I had one no problem ebay dealing with him a year or two ago. My sincere condolences to all of his friends and family.
Thank you, Coin World, and those who contributed.
