I just purchased a decorative figurine that is marked 925, no markings of being weighted. When I rub the bottom of it, it feels as if there is a thin film of silver over another substance, ie it is weighted. But it isn't labeled as weighted. It is a piece by Sam Philipe. I will go on his website and ask him as well. What do you think? Are there unmarked weighted pieces out there?
