I went to the Winter Classic last year in Fenway and it was one of the best sporting events I had ever been to. Hopefully they do not get any rain this year, I see that it is in the forecast.

Penguins game could be moved to Sunday if it rains. NHL doesn't want to do it, but they can't play in the rain. The puck won't move on the
ice. Lemieux is supposed to be playing on Friday. Wonder if that game is going to be broadcast. Would love to see it.

Don Cherry was sounding off on Hockey Night in Canada about the Caps coach taking the Lords name in vain in the dressing room on that 24/7. Grapes said how that was never done on the bus or in the locker room in all his years with the Bruins.

I loved the Bruins Flyers game last year, but have little interest in this years game. This Crosby-Ovie thing is bogus IMO. When
did you ever hear of the NHL doing a Gretzky vs. Trottier saga, or Gretzky vs. Lemieux saga back in the day ? It never happened.
I throw up every time I hear it, and can't stand watching the Penguins play the Caps.

They did not have to do that when Gretz played because he was an attraction. Crosby and Ovie are really good players, but they have not hit that elite level. Crosby is getting close to that level, but Gretzky put fans in seats on a regular basis.
