This is not my tree. It's actually a friend of mines tree. On our tree I was thinking about putting up some of my PSA cards as ornaments but I know my wife will have no part of it.
I have about a 14" noose that my dad made in the 1970's hung on our Christmas tree. He made it as a lark, hung it on the tree, and the tradition was born. Some of the looks we get from family friends when they see that on our tree are positively priceless.

Got a pic?
BTW my youngest (1 Y.O.) son got into my Rivera Topps collection and was actually trying to put them on the tree Wife wasn't to happy. I thought it was hysterical!
In 1989, in the first grade, I was 6 years old and "rat tails" were a popular haircut for young boys. My parents indulged my innocent attempts at individuality, but my Mother very much hated the "look." That December, I agree to cut my rat tail if, and only if, I could tie a ribbon around it and hang it on the Christmas tree.
I wish I had a pic, but we have a small 4 foot fake tree on our front porch (along with all the lights, garland, fake presents, etc.) and a reggie jackson SLU is the angel.
