What do you all think of eBay seller antiques.toysandmore03? Are all of his Goudeys fake?

    The '33 Ruth and Mel Ott don't look quite right. I used to own the Mel Ott card (PSA graded), and mine didn't look quite like that. If you do decide to purchase, I would proceed with caution, and pay with a credit card.

    IF the cards are not real, i doubt they are aware of it....these folks are actually pretty good to deal with, but they don't have a lot of experience in the card biz from what i can tell....i'd suggest sending over a message outlining your concerns and reinforce the notion that you have 7 days to return anything if you feel dissatisfied.

    Both the E121 Ruth and the R319 Ruth are fake. And the seller knows on 1 of them

    I wrote them a couple days ago on the E121 and told them how to tell the difference. They replied back with a generic reply saying that the buyer can get a refund then if they want.

    What are the telltale signs that the E121 is fake? I know enough about Goudeys to recognize theirs is bad.

    Because of the color and the handcut edges Im thinking the E121 looks like a homemade fake (Its a fake 100% sure, but might just be a reprint), the overall clarity and quality of the photo and the print is way off, the back print should be jet black and crisp, some fakes are homemade and printed out on an ink jet printer and will have a slightly blueish look to the black print like this. A normal reprint is usually rescreened in the print process and will have a lower quality photo too, and this may also be one of those. Its a fake, either way.

    PS I didnt even see the R320 cards,, they are all fake as well

    The easiest way to tell is the bottom has been cropped, the "y" in "Says" is missing its tail, and the line under Gehrigs small portrait is gone.

    there are 7 R320 fakes, and also the #19 Ruth and Ott are fake as well

    I just got a reply and the seller said they removed both Ruths, and I just send them info on the R320s and the Ott now so they may be gone soon as well.
