I'm out of the loope on this could someone tell me what $3.05 90% Face and 1 40% Kennedy is worth image

    90% silver value is 21.23 per $
    40% halves are $4.34 each

    I could not garner a trade for 7 rolls of 40% Kennedy's for 90% on BST; best offer was $3.24 a piece.

    Sold on ebaY last night for $4.20 each--not as far off melt as you might think, minus 12% ebay/PP/SHI was net $3.75 a piece (so about $70 more by going to ebaY). Bought 90% halves at about $10 each.

    My shorthand is silver 14.00/oz = 10x face; 28.00/oz is 20x face, so every $1x face is ~$1.40/oz, since I don't keep a calculator in my pocket. Gets me in the ballpark, but honestly I'm finished trading out silver for now and most of numismatics gone to finance the electric bill and what-not.

    A Morgan dollar has more silver in it that $1.00 face of 10c, 25c or 50c.
