If you HAD to choose between these 3 metals right now, which would it be?

Imagine someone offered to give you $10000 worth of EITHER gold, palladium, or platinum, on the condition that you hold it for at least two years. Silver not a choice. Which would you choose and why?

gold because it's yellow
gold, because it's gonna continue to be hyped to the max and should increase percentage-wise more than the others. but heck, if someone's giving it to me, it don't matter much a nuthin' to me what it is.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Platinum is definitely 'low' in price compared to the others and hence, it should have the greatest upside for the next two years.
If you believe we're going to have another strong downturn in the economy, then I would definitely choose Gold as it is least affected by this.

<< <i>Gold. It's pretty, and has a much larger following than the others. Everybody knows gold.

I agree, palladium is very difficult to sell fast.

Now with it being my own money, a 65/35 mix of Gold/Platinum....if silver is not a choice. If silver is a choice, all 90% silver.
I'm trying to stick to your guidelines, but to me it isnt that easy.
Oddly, I expect platinum to do better than gold over the next 12 months.
I knew it would happen.
