NGC said this problem was fixed (about a year and a half ago). Obviously it is not. Here's another misattributed capped bust half dime in a new holder:
Heritage Auction
The filled lower part of the letter E in UNITED makes this coin later than the LM-8.3 claimed on the label. The coin is at least an LM-8.4 and could even be an LM-8.5.
Bidders beware, don't believe this label. The LM-8.3 is the toughest remarriage IMO (out of the 1832 LM-8.1 through LM-8.3).

SeaEagleCoins: 11/14/54-4/5/12. Miss you Larry!
Heritage got the NGC pops right for the 1840 SL half as slabbed but not for PCGS. Might have been more about confusion that just getting it wrong.

coooool
frankly, this one is inexcusable: ebay link
NGC attributes the coin as LM-1, which is a large date, large 5C variety.
The coin is really a small date, small 5C variety LM-10.
<< <i>rather than start a new thread...here's another one I just found on ebay...

It must have been cold the day that coin was minted... you can see Ms Liberty's breath!
