Test....Update - Test Complete, I need a new scanner!! Also, opinions needed on best way to sell 19

I am testing scanner resolution ...
The rest of the story is that these are my fathers baseball cards. He thought it may be a good idea to have the stars graded prior to selling the lot. I picked a hundred or so of the HOF cards today and am going through them. Most will grade out in the PSA 1-5 range with a conservative average in the PSA 3-4 range. There will be a few higher, but because of wrinkles, creases, corner wear, etc., most would be slabbed in lower grade. He wants to sell them and, as much as I would love to have them and start trying to finish these sets, I just can't take on the project right now. I am going through each of the major cards now and will be trying to scan as much as I can and determine how complete the sets are. As of this point, the 57-61 sets are 40-60% complete. Most of the star cards are here, but very few Mantles (he was from upstate NY and he and all of his buddies enjoyed the sound of Mantle flapping in their bike spokes, more than they did looking at the cards...hindsight is 20/20).
Any opinions on trying to sell a large grouping of PSA cards and paying the cost to do so versus selling them all as raw?? Thought right now is to sell all as one lot.
All thoughts will be appreciated. Here are some scans...

<< <i>The 60 Banks looks mighty nice. Are you going to send it in for slabbing? >>
The corners on this card would probably allow no more than a PSA 5 grade...pretty typical for the most of the cards.

I think you would have no trouble selling them on the BST forum. Your scans look good.
BTW, I give you my word that I will stay far far far away from your BST thread
<< <i>I would leave them raw. I personal like the way they look in the card savers.

Thanks for the feedback CT. I agree that they do look better in the CS1's than they would in a mid-grade PSA holder. I believe I will get a case of the CS1's and just put all of the cards in them. Should make for a nice lot. Most of these are high-end collectors grade cards, but probably not worth the extra expense of the slabs....and thanks.
