I pretty much agree with those. Though #9 is a little odd and hits awfully close to home image

I subsrcibe to Franklin but truth be told..............he scares the cr@p out of me!

I agree with everything but point 4. I think he has that wrong and I always have

Point 9 probably could be argued from time to time as premiums rise and fall..............Generally I would agree though. MJ

    I. Always take delivery - very good idea.

II. Never buy premium if you can avoid it. - don't let it stop you.

III. Buy bullion for business, numismatics for fun. - yeppers.

IV. Buy silver first, then gold. - buy 50:50 ultimately

    V. Buy small gold first, then large. - makes sense

VI. Never buy exotic coins or modern rarities or anything you don't understand. - corollary, understand them.

VII. Know your dealer. - yep, or at least know who they are and something about them

VIII. What governments can't find, they can't steal. - re: buy physical

IX. Never swap bullion coins for U.S. $20 gold pieces. - lol, I wouldn't but you should probably talk to roadrunner about that one!

    X. Never break the law. - yes, you must do everything that the government tells you that you must do, even if it feels wrong and goes against everything that you've ever known. After all, our elected representatives and president always have our best interests in mind as American citizens.

thanks for the Roman Numeral refresherimage
    i wouldn't change them either.

I like it. I wouldn't nit pick it point by point. It's the 'Ten Commandments'....not the 'Eight Commandments and a couple of suggestions'. If you look at it as a group...I like it a lot!

Well, I find it interesting how number 8 and number 10 might easily be at odds with each other. After all, if you never break any of the government's laws, why would you be concerned if they can find any of your stash?
