raw 78 Topps #36 Murray rookie - PSA 8 or only 7?

Picked this up at a show a few weeks back... didn't notice the chipping until I got home. Paid PSA 8 money for it ($40). Did I pay too much?
Centering couldn't be better, but two corners are less than perfect and some edge chipping. Back is centered as good as the front and looks fine. Will this come back as an 8?

But it looks like it could get an 8
To answer your question yes you paid too much. But it's not like you bought a very expensive card, so don't let $20-$25 bother you. Enjoy the card.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
The little diagonal line under the first O is an indentation, not the fault of the scanner. I actually just cleaned both sides of the glass on this scanner less than two weeks ago. This card isn't really in good shape.

Do you guys think this Murray card would sell for more raw or in a PSA 7 holder?
<< <i>Hey TBP, did you see the signed baseball I sold on feebay? Someone gave me $20 for it! Guy paid fast too, LOL.

More raw if you sold it under the name of waverly and described it as pack fresh and minty. It might help to put a little whiteout on the chipping and be sure to mention your savior in the item description!

Sell the Murray raw with the good scans that you've posted in this thread. do not suggest ANY grade in your listing,
just stick to the basics
