Hideousness...

I've seen some ugly PSA 7's before, but geez.... if THIS is a PSA 7, then I've got PSA 15's laying around the house.

There's so much going on with that card... just makes me wanna make up words to describe it.... Rediculocity

... that is all ...

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

Are you SERIOUS? You don't think it deserves a "7"? Do you really think 4 bad corners, a stain and not very good centering should come into play when grading that card? LMAO.

I'm unfamiliar with the VCP on this card in a 7. Did the winning bidder buy the card or the slab?

I just decide to submit every vintage key cards I have, along with this listing as a grading guide.

    Think it will work??

From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

I'd rather have the prettiest PSA 5 in my collection than the ugliest PSA 7.

What drives me nuts about cards like that is that when I sub a key card it gets the utmost scrutiny, yet someone else got that past a grader.

    The sellers name fits.

I agree, the card should be in a 5 holder.

    maybe it was.....................

Its also in a new holder so one assumes it was recently graded. I also like the chipping on the back and front or is it excess print or maybe its dirt who knows as its a PSA 7 so its common right?

Sadly I have seen worse in PSA 8 holders but I still think they were WIWAG cards but still they are out there.

This is one of the reasons I no longer participate in the registry.

I actually wonder is that is a remanufactured slab with an original flip from a 7 (either a split PSA slab, or the new scam where you can purchase the look-a-like slabs). The scam is easy - by a 7, crack it, use the flip with a card that is lower grade, resubmit the "former" 7 and now you have two "7s."

Once you get below PSA 8, eye appeal starts to fly all across the board.

Buy the card, not the holder.

I'm doubting the integrity of the holder (despite the raised PSA impression in the lower right). In my OPINION, the holder has been compromised and resealed (and I'm far from Chicken Little on that subject).

The grader of death was definitely on vacation when this card was forwarded to the grading room!

Maybe the grader's 7-11 was out of coffee that day.

Too bad he spilled what was left on this card. He ALMOST got it all wiped off.

  • That card is hot garbage.
  • Compromised or misgraded, either way it's sad.

I could almost accept it as a 7 if it didn't have that ugly stain
I also wouldn't be surprised if the case has been popped open, based on the marks to the left of the label

I could never accept that card as NM.

I could not accept a card straight out of a pack during the year of issue
if it had 2 dinged corners as NM Let alone 4 rounded ones...............

    Glad you said, 'almost'

    lol
