1960 World Series - Anyone Watch It?

It was awesome to finally get to see that game. A few things I noticed that weren't mentioned on the rebroadcast which I thought were interesting. When the ball hit the dirt, the ump didn't ask for it back to replace it like they do these days. They let the pitcher continue to use the ball. I guess baseballs were too expensive to waste back then. I also noticed the pitchers were able to lick their fingers while standing on the mound. That would be a no-no today, even on cold days. Finally, it was interesting that Bob Nutting was in attendance but didn't speak (at least not during the segments they broadcasted). For those who don't know him, he's the penny pinching owner who's partially responsible for many of the recent 18 consecutive dismal seasons. I wouldn't have been surprised if Michael Keaton had thrown something at him. Keaton mentioned he had Clemente's baseball card.
