1744 coin...need lots of help with this one

obv seems to have GEORGIUS and again on obv at about 2 o'clock has II then looks like REX
while obv has the date 1744,the 17 is on the left side of the bottom of the crest while the 44 is on the right side of the bottom of the crest
The coin on obv is pitted while the rev is not as bad
anyone know much about this or its possible value????

    It's British, and King George II, as mentioned. As the 'shroom mentioned, though, one needs a picture (or at least a more detailed description including type of metal, design, and size) to say anything more 'bout it.
