Scanning my Rams collection: updated 1/16/15

Some may remember my Dodgers scan thread. Since I packed away most of my cards in preparation to move, that thread pretty much ground to a halt. I did keep three binders of cards handy, one of which contains my vintage Rams collection. Got bored, so I fired up the ol' scanner.

edit 12/18/10 - the Younger and Fears are in hand. I tried out a little different layout (and added nameplates) - there are 11 cards in the set, and 5 of them are horizontal. Like the layout? Hate it?

It's funny that you have this Rams post. I just bought a collection from a gentleman who was a huge Rams fan and collector. There are tons of Rams cards from 1950 bowman all the way to the '70's. I would say there are a couple hundred just from the '50's and '60's. Anyone have any ideas of the best way to sell them? By years or as just one big vintage lot? All of the cards are raw except for a 1952 Bowman Large Ollie Matson PSA 6 SP Rookie.

Always love the Rams posts. How awesome of a name is "Vitamin?" He sort of appears to have consumed too much metamucil and his football pants are about to pay the price.

Time to update my Rams thread.

Today's mail brought The Dutchman, Norm Van Brocklin - this puts my '51 Bowman Rams set to bed.



A couple of days ago Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch made an appearance, bringing the '52 Bowman Large set down to two cards.

Today's mail brings me within one card of completing my vintage Rams run. I added Vitamin Smith to the '52 Bowman Large set, leaving one tough card: Joe Stydahar.
