GU card experts...is this patch real or fake?

This card is numbered/50. I know there are lots of fake patches out there. Can anyone tell me if this is a real or fake patch?

  • TBH if their done well enough I don't think UD can even tell, a personal experience:

In Phoenix there is a guy who is huge on that... And there were some cards he bought from a shop and sold to me (This was a while back, I didn't know about it then), I posted them on ebay and was told they were fake by a card shop owner (Who happened to sell him the initial cards)... I sent them in to upper deck to make sure and they came back with letters saying they were authentic...

So now I stick with the one/two/three color patches unless its like /5 or 1/1

Since it says patch on the card I would guess real. Why pull off a real patch to only add that? If it were a MLB logo or another prominent piece I would be suspicious.

Not listed as a prime patch and # to 50. I would lean towards fake.

Is this currently listed on the bay? If so does the seller have a lot of other too good to be true patch cards?

This is not on ebay. It is a card offered to me in a possible trade. Just a collector from another site. He also traded for it.

He does have a certified on-card Magic Johnson auto. Either one I would resell but maybe I should just stick to the sure thing. Anything Pujols normally flies but I know I still cant go wrong with a Magic Johnson auto if he will be willing to let it go.
