thenavarro's trip to Cowboys Stadium w/pics including Raghib "Rocket" Ismail and Mel Renfr

What a fun way to start my Saturday. As some of y'all have seen, I've been collecting the 1988 Notre Dame National Championship Team signed cards, so I went to Cowboys Stadium today to get Raghib "Rocket" Ismail. I ended up having a lot more fun then I expected as I don't even like the Cowboys. Here's some pics:

Here is yours truly lying n the endzone after a TD catch (J/K) :

Of course, I had to take a couple pics sprawled out on the star at midfield:

Took a stroll down to the other end zone:

This is what the players see from underneath the GIANT video board:

By this time I was tired so I had to rest for a bit on the Cowboys bench:

The reason why I came in the first place, got to chat and get a picture with Raghib "Rocket" Ismail and he signed my 2 1988 cards (pics of those will be in my rookie and ND thread later) and talked pizza and Notre Dame with me:

After meeting with Rocket, I wanted to check out the locker room:

Here I am in front of some guy named Romo's locker:

Who's bigger, thenavarro or DeMarcus Ware?

Walking out of the locker room to the field, the players pass this bar:

This is the view leading out to the field:

Upon entering the field, they see the MASSIVE and IMPRESSIVE video board:

My trip wouldn't have been complete without a visit to Santa:

and who could resist his Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader elves, "Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas!!":

On the way out, saw Mel Renfro:

The Rocket sure could run back in the day. Electrifying!

Looks like fun and I hate the Cowboys!

What a FUN day Mike ... btw ... where was Maven? It is HER we now want to see in the excursion photos ... NOT her old man! LOL

How did you get to go on the field? Was it thru someone you knew or did they have some type of fanfest?

BTW ... I thought it was artificial turf? How did you get all that dirt on your face? HAHAHAHAHA
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Maven has her priorities, and today she was invited to a friends birthday party at "Pump it Up" so I lost out today. image It was like a "fanfest" called Rally Days. Very cool event. Jerry built one hell of a stadium. It was the first time I've been in the place. Yep, I need to shave as you can see my gray's sticking out of my stubble!!!
