What's this? PSA Dealer grumbling?

A friend of mine who does alot of biz with PSA was beyond livid with his most recent sub. He cried for a half hour that the grades were all over the place and correct on a few. Nice to here it just ain't my subs. On the pre-20's vintage he said they were dead on. But 50's to 30's he says they were at least a full grade to 1.5 grade off. And to claify his grading skills...he declined to to be a grader at PSA. I told him to be thankful as he gets his cards back in two weeks (i'm assuming dealer privs) , as my order from 10/22 yet still sits there at PSA still processing. Funny part is my cards are the same as his sub. Well, 2 months later, not so funny.

Rest assured that an entire card collecting nation mourns for your poor turnaround times. As for the grades, some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue. Anyone who's done a fair amount of business with PSA knows this is the deal.

Why is it that it seems like everyone has been asked to be a grader at PSA? Is this another one of those myths?

Half the people I've seen that say they were asked to be a grader couldn't grade their way out of a paper bag, so either it is a crock of bologna or PSA makes that "offer" like I say I "enjoy" my wife's cooking.

For how unhappy you are with PSA and their turn times, and I'm sure you won't be happy with half of your grades, why don't you use another grading company?
