A resolved BST issue.....

I have participated in Youngcoin15's silver eagle presales twice. Here are the basics, the first transaction was fine. This last time there was a small problem. 2nd transaction as follows:

(This is very abbreviated)

1. PM and order 2 rolls of silver eagles and sent payment.
2. Wait a few weeks as he advertised.
3. I check in a few times. He responds, never quick and I dont expect him to be quick.
4. I am told item has shipped. (This is around Thanksgiving, I gave him a lot of time to respond to questions figuring he may be traveling. )
5. I wait about 7-10 days and no shipment. PM sent to get tracking.
6. Response, he will get me the tracking, but it may be a day. That is fine maybe the coins will make it before he responds.
7. Wait a couple more days, I follow up.
8. Correspondence from Youngcoin, he cannot find tracking, he will do more research.
9. He responds, he sees my payment, he has no shipping record for my coins.
10. He apologizes and offers refund or the coins (but cannot ship for a couple days). At no point did he hint at canceling the transaction.
11. I tell him coins Please!!
12. He agrees and says will ship in a few days.
13. After a few days he sends shipment and tracking info.
14. Package arrives with coins, an apology note (about his fifth at this point), and some cash as for the hassle.

The bottom line, a mistake was made and even though silver moved about $6 an ounce during this transaction he came through with the agreed upon sale. His apologies were very sincere and communication allowed us to work through the issue. I know from prior experience he may not respond within 3-10 seconds of every PM, but he will respond, given a couple days.

I would have no problems working with him again in the future, this seller stands behind his word. I know we have are issues on the BST (see yesterdays electronics specials) but transactions like this restore confidence it what a great place the BST can be.

This is a big issue with PM volatility. Glad to hear this worked out.

I've had great experiences on BST. Hope that continues.

That was nice of him not to try to weasel out considering the $6 move.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Agree. He sounds disorganized but at least he's very honest.

I appreciate all the comments and threads about problems with certain individuals, after reading these I know who to deal with and who not too.

There are some great folks on this board, but there are some who put on a good front when it comes to business!!!
