Chiefs vs Titans

A win, means beating the Broncos and the Chargers back to back to take the division. Perhaps the biggest game for the Chiefs in 15 years.
All Chiefs fans are being cautious...almost silent.
Cassell might not play, as he had an appendectomy Wednesday...but it is a small cut...and Cassell is tough. Like Big Ben tough. If you look at the games last year, while the line was still adapting to the new system, he was getting sacked 6 times a game...and running for his life 15 other times. But almost every game, he would turn it up in the fourth quarter.
Anyway, thank you Bill Belickick for Cassell. I imagine Josh Michaels is thinking What If, right now.
The REAL Chiefs War Chant...not the new PR one.
(Only I don't think everyone says hell in the stadium.)

so I say "Hail to the Chiefs"
I hope they win the AFC West Crown instead of the Bolts or the Raiders.
Seahawks. I definately was able to give them enough highlights from that game. Finished the day with a on camera recap with Len Dawson before they boarded the bus for the airport. Everyone
was great and the Chiefs looked amazing that day. Hope they have a good rest of the season. Take care. Doug
Looks more and more like Brodie Croyle will start. It is really asking too much from Cassell to expect him to play.

However, we are still in the driver seat.
Making this a Chiefs thread now.

<< <i>The complete Chiefs roster practiced today, including Cassel. Looks like it will be a Sunday call, but everything is pointing to a Cassel start. >>
And the Chiefs are still garbage

Pretty hollow comment. At least ESPN's MBerry, Mr. Roto, would tell us a story about an ex-girlfriend...that ended up being an insult on the Chiefs. Then again, unlike yourself, he has had girlfriends.
(See that is how Berry does it.)

<< <i>If we win out we are in, thats the good news. But, if we lose any San Diego will be right there. I have also read somewhere that there is a chance of both us and San Diego making the playoffs. Would be cool for the AFC west to send 2 teams again. >>

KANSAS CITY, MO - DECEMBER 26: Receiver Dwayne Bowe #82 of the Kansas City Chiefs is congratulated by Chris Chambers #84 and fans as he jumps into the stands after making a 75 yard touchdown catch during the game against the Tennessee Titans on December 26, 2010 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. It appears the Chiefs are favored over the Raiders. Can't think of a better way to end the season then a victory of Oakland.
A few newslines of the day...
"The Kansas City Chiefs no longer have to whisper the word "playoffs." They can shout it from the rooftops if they wish." Yahoo Sports, Doug Tucker.
"The pain of the last three seasons is over, Chiefs fans. Bring on the playoffs." Yahoo Sports, William Browning.
Halen on Sunday's win in the Monday news conference "Yesterday was a good day. Good day for the Kansas City Chiefs. Good day for all this whole area...Kansas and Missouri. Things havent been real good and when you have a day like yesterday...our team went out..and we took care of business against a good team..a physical team..."
From ESPN, Bill Williamson on the Chiefs.
"Biggest area to fix: Are you kidding? We can’t think of much that the Chiefs need to fix this week. It’s all gravy for the Chiefs as they prepare for the postseason."
"Biggest area to build on: winning at home. The Chiefs are 7-0 at home. They will play their first playoff game at the New Arrowhead Stadium. This will be a difficult place to play for Kansas City’s first playoff opponent."
One game at a time.
I imagine we will face the Ravens, Colts or Jets. The Ravens can stop the run, and we need Charles and Thomas to play well. It isnt hard to score on the Colts, but it isnt easy to keep up with Manning. So I guess I like how it is sit up right now, which has the Chiefs against the Jets. The Jets are a pretty balanced team. They can throw and pass, and have Revis on defense, who is one of my favorite players...but they have a 100 distractions right now. Such as the tripping incident the other week, and Rex Ryan's foot fetish YouTube videos.
Perhaps most importantly, reguardless who we play, the Chiefs as a whole are injury free.
