It looks like he has been transferred to hospice care. I was lucky enough to interact with Bob several times and he was always a great guy to me and my son. He's truly one of the greats of the game. We'll be praying for him tonight.
Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
He will be in my prayers along with my father in law, just came back from Stonybrook University Hostipal were he is recovering from having his bladder removed due to cancer (having spread from the prostate) he is 73 and I hope he will be ok.

Your F-I-L is in my prayers as well. Both my little daughter and my wife were treated at Stony Brook for their Cancer as well.
STAY HEALTHY!

It was only 5 months ago, I got to meet him at the All Star Fan Fest in Anaheim. He was nice to everyone and saw a bunch of us fans in LA Angels jerseys saying "we could could start a team." When I shook his hand I was shocked how hard and firm it was. My prayers are with him and his family.
