Please say a prayer for Bob Feller

He's not doing well and it doesn't look good. One of the all time greats, a True American and one he'll of a nice guy.

    It looks like he has been transferred to hospice care. I was lucky enough to interact with Bob several times and he was always a great guy to me and my son. He's truly one of the greats of the game. We'll be praying for him tonight.

  • He will be in my prayers along with my father in law,just came back from Stonybrook University Hostipal were he is recovering from having his bladder removed due to cancer (having spread from the prostate) he is 73 and I hope he will be ok.

    Your F-I-L is in my prayers as well. Both my little daughter and my wife were treated at Stony Brook for their Cancer as well.

  • I hope he pulls through would be sad to see Santo and Feller pass so close to each other - both have been great for the game of baseball.

  • It was only 5 months ago, I got to meet him at the All Star Fan Fest in Anaheim. He was nice to everyone and saw a bunch of us fans in LA Angels jerseys saying "we could could start a team." When I shook his hand I was shocked how hard and firm it was. My prayers are with him and his family.

    This mornings Cleveland Plain Dealer has a writeup on Bob, he is not doing well.....hopefully he will pull out of this alright but it doesn't look good. link below

    There are reports this morning that Bob Feller passed away late last night. Dont know if this is true or not.

    Here in the cleveland area we have been blasted the last few days with snow, snow and then more snow so I've been watching tv this morning....haven;'t seen anything about Bob passing, only the news about him going to hospice.....

    The story from the Morning Journal in Ohio has been pulled. Someone made an error. Hopefully when its Bob's time, its peaceful.
