Anyone know anything about a 1994 Singapore Gold Lion Proof Set?

I have an opportunity to buy one at melt, and just wondering if there is a numismatic premium on these?

    FINALLY! someone who has heard of these sets.......

    I have a near complete set - 1990 to 2002 - all NGC PF69/70UC; plus a couple of duplicate sets in PCGS PR68/69DC.

    To answer your question - NO, there is no numismatic premium on these, raw or certified. I have offerred them to dealers in the US and Asia, and all have only come back with bullion price.

    Quite depressing really, as the mintages are tiny, some as low as 500.

    Luckily gold is on the uptrend, so I keep them as "investment".
