George Foreman Rookie/ Boxing cards

I don't see this card too often on ebay. I'm pretty sure 1973 panini is his rookie. I was hoping to win this pretty cheap since they mispelled his name in the auction but forgot all about it. I think 19 bucks for this in a psa 8 is a real good buy.

This was another one i missed.. i know its not Ali's rookie.. but its his first card produced by a major manufactuer. It doesn't make sense to me that this sells for less than the 71 barrett card. the jack nicklaus 72 panini card has been selling for quite a bit more than the 71 barrett card.

The only modern boxing card that seems to have any traction is the Tyson Panini rookie. He just got named to the HOF too.

I was watching that Clay card. Since I have the Rekord card so I decided to pass but I really thought it would go for more. That seller had some real nice cards. Sadly I was outbid on his two Pele cards by someone's snipe

I have been looking around at a few choice boxing cards for my rookie collection. Prices are real nice if you are a buyer as they tend to sell for cheap in addition to the economy and Christmas. I just picked up this 1935 Joe Louis for what I think is a great price. Joe Louis Rookie

nice pick up. I've been holding off on the pre 51 ringside rookies since they are on ebay pretty often and usually are a bit more pricey than the 60s-80s stuff. I just picked up a Fraizer 67 panini rookie for 12 bucks. Its def a buys mkt for these. I bought a 64 panini pele from that seller about a year ago. I got it slabbed and was only a 4. Its a pretty harsh grade since the biggest flaw is the 90 10 centering on the back.

now i really wish i picked up the psa 8 that sold a little while back for less than 20 bucks. I'm shocked this went 68 bucks raw..

I had my snipe set at $48 for the Foreman and $64 for the Kareem. I was surprised to see that my bids weren't even close.
