1974 Mid Atlantic Sports Collectors Assoc. Convention

Here is the front cover of a 24-page program to the 1974 Mid Atlantic Sports Collectors Association Convention held April 26-28, 1974, in Cambridge, Maryland. Tom Collier was the association's president. Other familiar names (to me) who are listed as members of the association include: Michael Aronstein (he and Collier later formed the TCMA company), Bob Jaspersen, Gar Miller, and Bill Mastro. There were names of approximately 60 members listed.
When I met Tom Collier 10 or so years ago, he had moved to Vale, Tennessee, and had a small shop in a very rural area. I think he only opened the store by appointment and used the building as storage. If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone to the bank and bought everything he had for sale. Tom was funny; he would never let us into the back room where he stored who knows what. All we knew was that each time we went to visit, he would have a different selection of memorabilia for sale. He have since heard that he moved back to Maryland where he died several years later.
